The Queen Mary
Part of Marine Court, a grade II listed Art Deco apartment building on the seafront of St. Leonards on Sea. Built between 1936 and 1938 the building was modelled on the recently launched Cunard ocean liner Queen Mary. At the time it was the tallest residential building in England.

"Furnished in exquisite taste"
Designed to operate in a similar way to a luxury residential hotel a restaurant for residents and guests was included in the development. Featuring dining rooms spread over two floors, each capable of seating 500, kitchens and a stunning lounge on the top floor with a roof top patio this building is what we know today as Hanover House.

Dancing Queen
Hanover House didn't transition straight from a fine dining restaurant to offices, in the 1970's it became the place to be seen with a thriving nightclub attracting performances from Status Quo, The Who and The Moody Blues.

Surrounded by History
Enter through the original doors to the seafront, collect your post from the former concierge desk, climb the same stairs The Who once carried their drum kit up and take in the same view that captivated countless couples at dinner. (Pictured: an original art deco light installation in reception)
Opportunity calling
In the late 1980's Hanover House was converted to office accommodation, retaining the same iconic design elements and split into just 6 suites Hanover retains the intimate and exclusive feel it was built to provide, there are few offices that allow you to watch the sun rise over the English Channel each morning and eat lunch on a sandy beach.
